Download free ebooks from Amazon

There is no end to education. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning.

In one of our previous posts we discussed about how to download free ebooks. In this post I intend to inform you about how to download free ebooks from Kindle. No roundabout ways, no limited free downloads!

First things first, don’t worry about not possessing a Kindle. You don’t need to buy it. You can download loads of free books to your PC, smart phone or tablet without paying a single penny! All you have to do is  download the free Kindle app on your Windows PC.

If you have issues with your internet speed (you will surely have if you happen to be in Nepal :) )then you can paste this url [www.amazon.com/gp/kindle/pc/download] on the Internet tab of DAP (Download Accelerator Plus). The free resume function of DAP is a great help in countries like Nepal where nobody is certain about the intro and outro of electricity. The Free Kindle App is about 28.1MB in size, so my suggestion is to use a down-loader with good-free-acceleration and resuming ability.

For other devices, like smartphones, tablets and Mac PCs, you can go to the Free Kindle App download site and make your choice.

Once the Kindle app is installed on your PC, go to Amazon Best Sellers. You’d better bookmark this link, since there are high chances that you might get lost in the Amazon jungle. Frustration might set in when most books you want to download will have $99.99 on them.

On the left side of the bookmarked page, you will see the categories under Kindle eBooks. Browse through them (just through the categories otherwise you’ll surely get lost) and you will see the free ones you can download. They will be the ones where Free will be tagged below.

Then you click on the book of your choice. You will be transported to another page and there you need to click on the icon which has Buy now with 1-Click pasted on it.

Since you haven’t registered with Amazon, you will be prompted to sign up. Fill in your details which consist of email, street address, city, state, country and your phone number.

The e-book will be downloaded on your Kindle app only when you sign in with the Amazon registration in your Kindle app. You will be pleased to see that Kindle comes with three ebooks as a bonus. I got Aesop’s Fables, Treasure Island and Pride and Prejudice. Once you see the book on the Library of Kindle app, you click on it and the download starts.

You can do this whole process the other way round too. That is, by signing up at Amazon at first.

Well, I found that Kindle provides more quality free books than any other download free ebook site. Then that’s for you to decide………….
